Reception Area at Bolger Gym & Wellness Center

Diversified Fixture recently had the pleasure of designing, fabricating, and installing the reception area for Christian Health Care Center's Bolger Gym & Wellness Center. We built everything from the reception desk wall, counter-tops, and cabinets.

Radius Desk at Bolger Gym & Wellness Center

The radius-style reception desk is made out of high-pressure laminate with a tempered frosted glass accent piece. The glass was bent to match the the radius of the desk wall. While aesthetically pleasing, the frosted glass also allows the staff to have privacy while still being readily available for patients. This desk is suitable for 1-2 receptionists. The main reception desk also includes under-counter wheelchair storage (as seen in the picture), and plenty of counter space for patients and staff.

The back-line cabinets were also designed to suit the space and the needs of Christian Health Care Center. The Corian counter-tops allow for tablet-charging stations, as well as work spaces. This area allows up to 6 staff to work in one space at the same time.

"Beacon of Light" PACE Center

The Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly, PACE for short, is a Medicare and Medicaid program that allows elderly citizens who qualify for nursing home care to stay home while a team including doctors, social workers, physical and occupational therapists cares for them in their home, at adult day-care centers and in visits to specialists.

We had the privilege of partnering with AcuteCare Health System as they did a gut renovation at the former Fort Monmouth in Eatontown, NJ. From the welcoming reception desk, to the beautifully appointed personal care rooms, and the relaxing environment of the day room, the residents of the new "Beacon of Light" PACE Center will feel right at home in this peaceful and serene environment. Corporate Office in Jersey City High-Rise

Researchers have uncovered numerous ways the buildings in which we live, work and play impact our actions and behavior. Seeing how the office is home away from home for many people, it's important that the corporate setting is not only functional and fit for purpose, but also appealing, inviting and comfortable. It's wise to invest in the interior design of your office because well designed office spaces are linked to an increase in employee morale and productivity. In addition, the design of your office should reflect the nature of your business, communicating the values and approach your business takes towards those who walk through its door.

We recently had the opportunity to finish multiple projects for a corporate office in a Jersey City high-rise.

From the moment their employees and clients walk in the door, they are greeted by a reception area that is inviting and connected to the services they offer. Here we created a feature wall of rough-sawn pine that contrasts with the high-gloss painted finish of the custom reception desk. In the waiting area, a digital hearth welcomes one to sit and enjoy the incredible view.

In the kitchen and copy room, high pressure laminate cabinets provide ample storage space, while the Corian tops provide beauty and function for years to come.

The conference room boasts a spectacular view of the NYC skyline. This room was outfitted with a high pressure laminate buffet perfect for storage and for holding food or handouts during corporate meetings on its beautiful concrete top (top by others).

I think it's safe to say this corporate office has accomplished the task of providing form and function while still being comfortable and inviting to its employees and clients.

Radius Reception Desk

Last week we finished installing a radius reception desk at Deborah Heart & Lung.

The desk has a beautiful Meganite© solid surface desk top with an exquisite Cambria© stone transaction top to match.

The cabinets under the desk are rolling cabinets, allowing the facility the ability to change the configuration as needed.

The Importance of Choosing a Qualified Fabricator

A customer contacted us recently regarding a solid surface top they had fabricated by a competitor who offered a lower price. This "certified" fabricator followed none of the fabrication guidlines, installing a 52" span of solid surface top without any support. It's no surprise that after only 13 months in service, this top has cracked and requires replacement.
