The nurses station has been described as the "nerve center" of the patient area. At any given time, it may support anywhere from two to 20 caregivers. It's where charts are read, patients are monitored, medicines are prepared, files are stored, new patients are recorded, friends and family find help and colleagues consult. To best fulfill all these functions, it's important that a nurses station be aesthetically pleasing while providing privacy, durability, storage, and delegated work room to encourage efficiency.
At Diversified Fixture, we offer custom nurses stations to meet the need of each specific unit. The end result is a nurses station that helps the unit run as efficiently as possible while looking aesthetically appealing. This particular nurses station is in the Same Day Surgery Unit at Bayshore Community Hospital.
We were flipping through the mail the other day and came across the Fall 2010 publication put out by one of our customers, Christian Health Care Center. We were delighted to see a picture of one of our most recent projects with the facility - a nurses station - included in their publication. To read the whole article, click here.
